Everyday, millions of people face domestic violence. Millions of year-long evolution has failed to improve our trait. Education or maybe lack of it, failed to teach us to control our temperament and making life difficult or hell for others. The community policing has tamed it but has not eliminated it. The saddest part and the sordid part also that most of the times the abuse remains unreported. There are thousands of cases where the knowledge came too late. The victim is either beyond help or doomed to vegetable stage where the difference between help or no help is only an academic matter.

Identify the perpetrators

There are people working relentlessly to help the abused. There are people who took up the job of helping, alongside their daily work and it is their belief that made the world liveable. Mrs. Deborah Alessi is one such personality who keeps our hope alive. Her foundation works to support the survivor of the trauma by giving medical support; arrange rehabilitation, psychiatric support and where it reaches the extreme point the life support. It is needless to mention that the organization also provide legal support.

Support the survivors

The statistics of abuse is startling. The data collected by the organization ran by Mrs. Deborah Alessi is alarming. It says that over five million women are abused in USA alone every year, and about one million need medical attention. The report also unearths the fact that seventy percent of the attacked victims are women, and fifty-one percent of the attack is for unrequited love! The statistic failed to mention how many of the victims carry this trauma lifelong it must e more than hundred percent. The scar is on everyone who has seen it. The organization needs our all out support.
